What you need is access to a giant bbq. Any camp sites close to Calgary with a big camp kitchen? You need to wrap them in tinfoil and slow cook them in it using old fashioned bbq briquettes. They burn slow enough that you won't risk burning them. You may want to give it a trial run to get the timing right, but that's what my Dad does for all our family reunions and other big family events.
