Second class? Keep going down, those guys are treated like slaves. I used to unload the couriers when I was part-time, but if theres a bus or truck coming in then to hell with the couriers, you have to go unload the other stuff and let them do it themselves.

Thats not saying anything about their $2M conveyor belt system that never works.

Good news everyone:

I knew Greyhound Canada was on a downward spiral as soon as they started requiring specific departure times. I used to routinely take the Greyhound between Kamloops and Vancouver. But they have made travelling so inconvenient that I am not bothering with it anymore.

Do they actually REQUIRE specific departure times? I went in and said that I wanted to leave on the 22nd and come back the next day. The ticket guy just guessed at the times. I sent in an e-mail to their "customer support" address just to be sure and haven't gotten a response since I sent it a week ago....

Within the last year, Greyhound started requiring specific departure and return times. They claimed it was for security reasons but it is really for financial reasons. By requiring customers to leave at a specific time, they can cut down costs. It used to be so much easier when Greyhound allowed you to depart and return at anytime.

If you have the time, schedule your departure for late at night or early in the morning. I found there was alot more room to stretch my legs when I took the 1 am bus from Kamloops to Vancouver.
