Send the request to cphltrade@yahoo.com and I can change it.

EDIT: Or with your lines.

sweet. thanks. Fortunately, I don't play tomorrow, so there's time to wait and see if it'll be necessary or not.

UPDATE:

The new IP address for the server should start working with www.missolutions.ca later tonight or tomorrow morning. It should have worked yesterday but for some reason the registration didn't take.

But the harddrive is making screaching sounds so when it does start working it won't stay up for long. So expect a a reasonable downtime when that happens. Though it does sound like my friend will keep the server running until June.

We are still going to move to another server as soon as we can. We are in the process of finding out what would work best at this point. Most likely the new server will require money to run, so small donations would be appreciated if this is the case. No need to worry about that now though.

as mentioned earlier, I am in the process of putting a server together and will have all the details of that server in the next day or so.

Hopefully we can have ours running within the next couple of weeks. My friend, Jeff, who is the smart one of the two of us, spelled out the requirements to me and we place the order for it today. I am awaiting the quote from the Computer place and we will take it from there.

We were hoping to add a server at some point in time anyways, as we have a number of websites that we are hosting elsewhere. This has obviously given us the kick in the but that we needed so we are forging ahead.

Cam and I have been in discussion with regards to requirements and we dont foresee this as a problem.

Basically the new set up is a Pentium 4 with 2 - 80G hard drives and 512mb memory. It will run on the Linux system. The drives will mirror so that if any problems arise they should be corrected in short order.

The only concern at this point in time is with Telus and the data and through rate.
We are talking to Telus and should have those answers shortly as well. All in all, we are trying to work this out and hope to be able to provide an alternative to the server that the CPHL is on now. If the process works then we will be happy to help out. If through more discussions, this is not a viable alternative , we will still carry on with setting up our new server.

Lets hope we can make something happen. Thanks Cam for getting back to me and I am sure that Jeff will be in touch with further questions.

Wow impressive.

I am talking to the powers to be about using the CalgaryPuck server for all my cgis, etc. If this is possible then this is probably the way to go because we will be able to have everything at one place.

Saying that, keep us in the plans for now Sample.

JirHrdina is also looking into a possible server for us.

I am also looking at other possible hosting sites but they are the last resort unless the first three fall through some how.

And thanks again for everyone's help so far!

P.S. For those desperate to see your rosters you can use the ip address 68.147.28.242 to view the pages on the cgi server.
