looks like a steal for flames. calgary really has a lot of swedish prospects lately, I am worried though, because flames have a great team already, and there is a logjam both on forwards and defense. Will there be room for any of prospects in the future?

backlund
stralman
erixon
bjorklund

on defense, Flames have phanoef, jaybo and regher locked up as the top3 for many many years. Is there any room for erixon and stralman?

^That's a problem you want to have. Even with all the promising names a healthy chunk of them won't make it at all. Remember just a few years ago we all were excited about guys like Jusso Puustinen and Aki Seitsonen who seemed like great picks shortly after their drafts.

Sutter would like to see two rookies make the team every year, so why not try to make the competition for those two spots as strong as possible? You can never have too many good prospects.

Unfortunately I won't have time to watch today, but Bjorklund is playing Detroit today and it is streamed live for free on nhl.com. If anyone gets a chance to watch I would greatly appreciate thoughts on Bjorklund's performance.

Just tuned in and was wondering how the heck I'd know which one is Bjorklund then I saw him get robbed by whoever Detroit's goalie is. Bjorklund is #14, looks pretty decent out there.
