I'm a bit surprised Edmonton is hardly running the ball.

On the two scoring drives they looked great, on the other drives they looked awful.

Defensively mostly good but terrible on the TD play.

The Stamps run defense looked pathetic on that drive.

The 3rd down play should have been easily stopped.

Now that was an effective drive. 3 plays after the Esks punt and the Stamps have another TD!

Nice sounded like Copeland made a wicked catch, then followed it up for a TD!!!

Wow, either team gonna start playing defense? Ray running for a TD is pretty sad for the Stamps' D.

Terrible attempts at tackling on Ray there.

And that was the worst play of the night on a night (season) of terrible run defense.

The Stamps could not have played that any worse.

Good grief. So many offside penalties. They're all obvious too on TV.

The Stamps receivers must go offsides as often as every other team combined.

And a terrible kick from DeAngelis.

A pretty awful half altogether.

Sure they have the lead but against the Esks that should be a given.

The Stamps have shown nothing this year to indicate they can repeat, other than the fact that the other teams all appear to suck as well so it won't take much to win the GC this year.

4 offsides by the Stamps in the first half, that is just unacceptable.

wow. entertaining first half, lots of scores and some good plays. sick catch by copeland. defences not doing very well though. Montreal and Hamilton seem to be the best teams this year so far, west is a dogfight. whoever can get on fire gets first.
22-21 at the half for the Stamps. the offsides are brutal. Stamps wouldve had a first down at the 10 at the end there if it wasn't for the penalty, instead they go offside and DeAngelis misses a 35 yarder. wierd.
should be an interesting second half. Go Stamps

That wasn't a penalty on Robede, but there is no need for him to risk it there.

CGY can't allow Ray to run for 27 yards.

missed the entire first half because I was running around. I saw the pass Burris made to Ralph to surpass Flutie passing yardage. That could have been an easy kick for DeAngelis missed.
This is actually a typical Calgary-Edmonton first game of the season. See-saw action.

The start to this half reminds me of last week.
