Well, except when it goes to decision in MMA.

Leonard Garcia won a close split-decision last night at WEC 42, in part because he was the "name" fighter in the bout.

Hahah, reading this thread I had to check the dates twice to make sure it was an old bump or something. Sgt. Slaughter? DX? Holy crap, I thought this was 1999.

Man did the WWE miss an opportunity tonight to have Bret Hart come out and pass the crown to the next generation of Harts that are going to be appearing tonight.

If HBK and Bret Hart could ever patch up their differences back stage, they could make millions with just a confrontation, not a match but a confrontation.

10 minutes of watching Kerry Fraser ref a hockey game will draw you to the same conclusion ... but I bet you still cheer.

I was going up until Punk and Jericho got moved over to Smackdown and now that Kendrick and Kennedy are fired the only person worth seeing for me is Evan Bourne. The rest I can't be bothered with anymore.

I just hope that TNA comes out this way at some point so I can actually see some real wrestling.

TNA? Really, its worse then WCW ever was. Its great that they feature x division little guys, but they'll never be anything for warmup acts for the goldie oldies tour at the top of the card.

I'd be surprised if TNA was still in business after christmas.

But the owner is hot.

TNA is actually getting more consistent and higher ratings on a week to week basis. And being that they've survived going on 7 years now and more international stations are picking them up and asking them to tour, I don't think they are going to be going under any time soon. People are getting tired of the WWE BS. Vince is flushing what was once a great company.

I've never seen WCW, so I am not sure if its worse. I just know right now, I find it to be a better product then what the WWE has going on right now. TNA just turned a corner with this locker room riot angle and World Elite faction.

And the X-Division is what you watch TNA for. Actually, the Motor City Machine Guns are what you watch TNA for. They are an exciting young tag team with great cohesiveness. Also have a great ability to turn the crowd from hating them to loving them in the same match. And Alex Shelley is a Chris Jericho in the making. If you watch any of his old Ring of Honor stuff when Generation Next was forming, you can see this guy was born to be on the mic.

Plus you have AJ Styles. If you've ever seen him live, you know why he's so great. Got the opportunity to see and meet him in April and they guy lives up to the Phenomenal name.

Hey guys, I just found out that gymnastics uses pre-determined routines, in every single routine. That's not sport, that BS, we need to get this fixed crap out of the olympics immediately.

In all seriousness. It takes a great degree of skill to make it in the WWE, you need to be a great wrestler, great talker, outstanding physique and have charisma to hell and back. I think the WWE is thin on talent right now, because their are so few people capable of being great wreslters.

Sargent Slaughter is going to be the guest host tonight. They had a weird thing a while ago that Donald Trump bought RAW (story line of course). The fans didn't get into it so they didn't go with it. They had to fill in the next couple weeks and that turned into this guest host now. Jeremy Piven was the host from last week.

I hate Ortin so much, I am going to bring a lubed up pair of tighty whities to throw at him and his two boyfriends. Would like to see how gigantic Batista the Barista really is, and Cena too for that matter. And my personal favorite SANITO!!!!!! Good lord he's a funny human being!

Who cares if its fake, since Vince McMahon changed the sport from wrestling to sports entertainment nobody has ever denied it. The term Kayfabe doesn't even exist anymore.

Wrestling is no worse then the garbage reality T.V. thats being passed off now days anyways.

I rarely watch it, I have to admit that I'm more of an old school fan that liked to watch Bret Hart, Curt Henning and even HBK in the old days when they tried to make the wrestling look credible and real.

I'm a fan of the chaos that was stampede wrestling when you had Bad News Allen, Dynamite Kind and Leo Burke bleeding on a nightly basis, and it looked legitimate.

The problem with todays wrestling and especially with the cruiser weights is that it looks fake and stupid. Now I can admire a guy like A.J. Styles, or Chris Daniels because they actually have impact behind their moves.

Even if they wanted to I doubt he'd accept. He wouldn't even make an appearance at Wrestlemania the day after being inducted in the Hall of Fame.

Oh I agree with that and its a shame. Bret feels that he made his goodbye speech at the hall of fame induction.

From my understanding McMahon and Bret Hart who had somewhat rebuilt thier relationship had another setback over Hart's book.

Which is an awesome read by the way.

when in rome!!!!! Haha. There's some good fun to be had. Just the same as dressing up like a cowboy for Stampede or and elf at Christmas (kidding). Wrestling has turned some corners in it's day and left those with their pictures in their heads like you have. For me, it's just a big ol' man soap opera. Ridiculous, silly and fun, and addictive, in that same ridiculous silly and fun way.

On another note, anyone notice that Jessie from Big Brother said that he's trying to get into the WWE? He said that on the first show he was on when they were all in the kitchen. That'd be pretty funny!

What? No coffee?? What's up with this?

I also heard that Brett might be there, his nephews are in it now, so it's a good tie in.

Wrestling isn't putting those pictures in my head. Your posts are putting them there!

I'm not following. I guess I'm coming off like a hillbilly because I'm looking forward to going to watch wrestling?

Not really, some people just get off on scoffing at commoners.
