My 42" LG plasma just set on fire the other day. 15 months old. I feel for you. At least it is under warranty. LG sent a repair guy yesterday and they are ordering parts. One more week and i get my TV back.
Wtf? It set on fire? Like your watching tv and the thing just lit up? HAHA, I haven't heard of that before.
Just so you know, a CRT (when it works without the pink hue!) has a much better picture than any plasma or LCD, especially the regular definition channels. I suggest that since you have hung out so long with the CRT, stick with them. Don't go flat screen unless you have to.
Yeah, but I want HD really badly for hockey season.
