So in the last 5 years Tom Brady has won 3 Superbowls, Trent Dilfer has won one, and Brad Johnson has one one. Donovan McNabb has had his team in 4 straight NFC Championship games and one Superbowl, and everyone is chastizing him for the game he played today....Sure he could have been better, but show me how he hasn't been the second best QB in Football behind Brady over the past 5 seasons. Unless the Eageles can get Tom Brady, than how do they improve at that position?? Really I'll give Trent Greene anyday of the week to bring in McNabb. Theres also 28 other NFL teams that would also gladly make that trade.
Oh I agree. That was my point originally above (though perhaps not clearly made). I think Donovan blew the game today but is there a better option out there for the Eagles. Not that I know of.

He was throwing passes with the sprial and strength that my wife would throw a Nerf football.

Not sure where that came from...haven't seen him throw consistent passes like that in really any game.

The whole Ealge offense looked tired. With a 75% Owens being basically the only spark, and inconsistent play from Westbrook when he had chances....

McNabb got booed when he got drafted...and will get a lot of heat for this, but he's still a premier QB when he's on his game.

Time management is more the coaches call. Why wouldn't he instruct his guys to go to hurry up offence?
Don't get me wrong, he didn't play a perfect game. I saw the missed receivers, the lack off hussle etc, i just don't think he should be written off all together.
Just like Manning, is team has room to improve, oh I dunno, like say a defence. If they got even a half competent one of t hose they'd be leathal.

Mcnabb isnt going anywhere, he didnt have the best game, but who does against the Pats??? nobody ever really lights them up, even Manning cant do it. I am not a fan of Philly, but they are a pretty good team built for the long haul. They have a top 5 QB, they wont be able to trade up.. Nobody mentioned the "stellar" play of Freddie Mitchell, what a joke this guy is..
