Well he did make an undrafted and unsigned (in the NFL) QB look like a superstar, so I'm not entirely sold on the fact that he's that over-rated.

But I guess only time will tell....but he really does need to stop the diva act when it comes to getting signed.

Way too early to say that. Maybe if he was one of the last holdouts, but most of the first rounders have yet to sign.

Crabtree seemed fine during the OTAs; the Niners actually chastised him for trying to run before he had permission. I'm hoping (and the quote seems to imply) that it is the agent who is playing hardball.

Obviously my opinions are just based on my perception of him since he came onto the scene in his second year at Texas Tech and I don't have anything substantial to base any of my beliefs on. Also, it is too early... but that's what I think is going to happen to Crabtree.

Also, the 49ers completely failed to get someone that can throw the ball this year.

I honestly believe he's got "disappointment" written all over him (not quite "bust").

There is now an option to put all unsigned players back on waivers every Sunday before the first game. Other sites had this for years. This is a good thing because it gives everyone a fair chance at players; not just the guy planted on the couch watching when a starter goes down and the replacement suddenly becomes a fantasy star. I've seen a few pools where that situation tilted the balance of the league. Nothing wrong with that, but it does tend to punish the guys with families who want to do family things on Sunday afternoons.
My brother was the king of that and he had a family with kids. He won my league two years in a row and placed 2nd another time. When I switched my league to a head to head league from a points league he finished in first place again. I finished in the 8th and final playoff spot with a losing record. We met in the first round of the playoffs and I beat him. He hasn't played fantasy football since.

You could be right. All I can say is at least I'm not a Raider fan. Now THERE is a circus.

Over the past year the entire AFC West has been a circus... but there's no dispute who's the ring leader.

Now I bet they will say VICK to the Vikings!

And i'm glad he is on the sidelines. 2013 is the projected year that Peyton will will be the record holder for yards passing, touchdowns and completions by a quarterback.

I'm so pumped for Colts camp. Indy has only came to terms so far with 1 of it's 8 draft picks so far but a few more should get done in the next 48 hours. Donald Brown should sign in this time period. I'm looking forward to Addai-Brown in the backfield and a healthy Freeney, Mathis and Saturday all season. First year with no Harrison in the recieving core so Wayne (sure bet) and Gonzalez need to have big seasons this year. Good thing the Colts don't punt much cause that is an area that we need to fill with Hunter Smith gone in the offseason. Only a few weeks till the first exhibition game vs Minnesota!

That Cornelius Ingram pick is looking like it might be a steal. He's been the star of training camp so far.

Quote:
4:40 PM - Another practice done, another session closed out by a Cornelius Ingram touchdown. For the second straight practice, the workout closed with red zone 7-on-7 drills, and Ingram again scored a 5-yard TD on the last play of the session, this time on an A.J. Feeley pass that Ingram hauled in after losing the coverage
Quote:
Then Cornelius Ingram made a very impressive catch in traffic up the seam on a pass from Kevin Kolb which earned the rookie tight end a "Good catch big fella" from McNabb.
Quote:
10:02 AM - The morning practice session closed out with a 7-on-7 red zone drill. Cornelius Ingram closed out a fantastic morning session and showed a glimpse of the kind of red zone weapon he might be able to be for this Eagles offense. He made a very nice catch at the back of the end zone over Moise Fokou on a well placed bullet from Kevin Kolb where only Ingram could grab it. His combination of size, speed, and hands is something that must have the offensive coaching staff salivating. Ingram then closed out the practice by losing the coverage on a play from the 5-yard-line and catching the easily thrown ball from McNabb.
The kid was a stud in college so I'm not too surprised, but I'm still very happy. For you fantasy guys, Westbrook is ahead of schedule on his rehab. Apparently LeSean McCoy has looked good.

GET TO CAMP, MACLIN!

Now you need a QB again. Jeff George is available.

Why the Vikings didn't grab Cutler is a mystery to me.

But but....Sage Rosenfels is our savior isn't he?

Back to square one, but I guess we will see what plays out now.

I'm so happy that after 20 years of being a fan, I don't have to worry about who the Saints' opening day QB is going to be. Not trying to rub it in, its been a long time comin'!

Now the only concern is keeping Mr. Brees upright and healthy.

As for the Saints as a whole, not a lot of concerns. The offense will be top 3, and I have confidence that Reggie will have a great year if he stays healthy. He was leading the league in TD's when he went down last year.

As for the defense, Gregg Williams is not a guarantee of success, but it can't get any worse. If the Saints have a middle of the pack defense they'll make the playoffs.

I'm so happy that the Kansas City Chiefs have the greatest QB in the league wrapped up long term with a $63,000,000 contract with $28,000,000 guaranteed to boot. Can you spell Super Bowl?

There are 20-ish teams that should have grabbed Cutler.

Vick in a Vikings uniform? I don't know if that really helps - with AP, the Vikings need a pass attack to spread out the defense... Vick's talents seem redundant on that team. (Cutler would have been perfect).

Because the Broncos needed some semblance of an NFL QB in return...which the Vikings simply lack.

Im not surprised that Favre decided against this in the end. A whole lot of burned bridges with GB had he done so, and his legacy there would be tarnished forever.

That being said, if a few weeks into the season a good team, even the Vikes, find themselves in injury trouble, he may very well decide to try again after watching games and getting the "itch" back.

See, I disagree with that. Why did they have to get the QB in that trade? They could've taken their two picks and traded up for Sanchez.....they could've bit the bullett on a bad season and drafted Bradford with their first rounder next year (a pick they no longer own).

In fact, when this all went down, I was outspoken on this issue saying they needed to make sure they did not use Cutler's value to replace him. I still think it was a mistake. They had an opportunity to get some nice defensive pieces.

If Orton proves he can't win with the weapons he's going to have this year the trade will be a huge mistake.

But they already have a built in excuse with the ongoing Marshall drama.
