some good points here, any big acts would tour in summer, and who wants to go sit inside to watch a football game in july/august. the Rider fans will go see the odd playoff game in chilly november anyways. unless your building it with a retractable roof, its a waste of money. they should just upgrade the existing stadium and leave it outdoors. its nice to play inside in november, but for 3/4 of the season you might as well be outside. any smaller things can go in the arenas or something. besides that, with Regina's population, they are not going to fully utilize a massive domed stadium in the bad times, and not alot of trade shows want to go to little regina, they would probably prefer Saskatoon.
