haha, yeah, I have. Drive thrus are the worst when there are 2 or more entrances to the line. Like the one on Country Hills by Nose Hill drive. You have to fight off 'morans' who get there and think they have first crack at the line because they are closer. Meanwhile, youve been waiting 5-10 on the other side. The worst about the centre street one is coming off 4th, and it's out the parking lot and you have angry people honkng...

That is one block... ok maybe it's two from my house..... most annoying part is the traffic backed up onto the flippin street.... in BOTH directions.
I am addicted however; so I go to another one that has awesome service. Minimum they have 3 (very capable) people working the drive through. Often I am being passed my coffee and change at the same time.

Which one is that? The only Tim's in the city with competent employees is the one on 17th ave and 10th street. Even if the line is out the door (they have no DT), you'll still get your coffee within 5 minutes. On the other hand, the one at 29th street and 16th ave, and likewise the one at 10th st and 16th ave is staffed by some of the worst strugglers I've ever encountered. Those two take bloody forever even if the line is only ~5 people.
The Center street and 40th one is pretty bad as well, but my biggest problem with that location is that the coffee tastes so weak. It's like they've got some kind of chintzy manager that demands that they use less grounds when making the coffee.

Meh, I don't see the problem. Someone with a large or unusual order is going to inconvenience and delay someone. I don't see the big deal about whether they do it inside or in the drive thru.
I hate drive thru staff who don't listen to what you say and cut you off every 2 seconds with a "Is that everything?" Just f'n listen to me, dimwit.

My Tims has no drive-thru. You have to get out and walk in. The staff have memorized the drink orders and vehicles of all of the regulars. When I walk in at 6:00AM, there is usually no one in line, I walk straight to the till and my drink is waiting for me -- they poured it when they saw me pull up -- I pay and am out of the store in like 30 seconds.

Timmie's on 58th west of blackfoot easily has room for a 15-20 car lineup and usually has that many in the morning. Luckily I don't like coffee so I just drive by shaking my head.

DO NOT CUT ME OFF WHEN I AM ORDERING.
If you wish to ask me a question or suggest an additional item/combo for my order please do it after I have finished speaking.

On the fritz? I just finished a project 6 blocks away from there and went there sporadically for a year. Without fail their coffee tastes weak every time. Problem is that there isn't another one reasonably close to there as an alternative.

I was at a drive-thru Second Cup this morning and encountered a man in front of me, on foot with his dog. I thought that was pretty poor etiquette.

That might work.... or I could just tell you the closest is north of the office.... that's not it. There is one a little further to the south... That's the one

There used to be a walk-in one on 4th (Edmonton Trail) just north of McKnight; but that closed recently.
There is a new one on Centre and 64. It has 2 drive-thru lanes that go into one... I havn't tried it yet.

One time on a scavenger hunt one of the items was a packet of ketchup from BK. Only problem is that they gave out the little cups of ketchup at the cash instead of the packets. The packets were only used in the drive through.
Since the drive through at the BK we happened across was completely empty, I went up to it on foot, opened the window, reached in and grabbed a couple packets of ketchup.

Here's my beef (and I know I' gonna tick some people off here).
PLEASE...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD put people on the Drive-thru speaker that don't have such a THICK Indian, Asian or whatever accent!
It's hard enough understanding you through that cheap
piece of crap speaker, I don't need your accent getting in the way as well!
Me: I'll get a double, double and a raisin bagel with straw-berry cream cheese, please.
The speaker (or what I hear): Ju wan to add a doo-no wit dat?
Me: What did you say?
And it goes on and on and on until I pull up to the window. I never understand what they're saying! I know that they're trying their best to speak CLEAR fluent English, but it's hard enough to understand you, while standing in front of you, let alone over a speaker.
Same thing goes for support and customer service line.
Ok...I'm done ranting.
