Was it really that bad? Because sometimes when I have to correct myself backing out of somewhere, I think other drivers are laughing at me.

Idiots.
When we have THREE very recent and spot on comparables to justify the price we want, it's probably not going to be happily accepted when you make an offer, we accept it, then you go back on it by 2k.
F OFF.
I'm not a lawyer, but I do believe that once they have submitted a signed offer to purchase and you have accepted it, legally they are not allowed to back out unless there is a problem with one of the conditions on their offer (I assume there were conditions).

Yeah, that's true.

That happened to my drummer. Of course we've all just taken our ethics exams for APEGGA and know that once in the phase of offer and acceptance, once the offer has been accepted, it is legal until a condition is not met.

He bought a house, then the seller said they were entertaining a competing offer. Idiots.

It was pretty brutal. He started creeping out and then pulling back in and then creeping out and pulling back in to edge his way over as if his stupid little optra was going to scrape the car next to him when he turned out. Blargh. I really think that backing up should be part of the road test. It took hiim like a minute to back out of the stall. That's a really freaking long time when you're sitting there waiting for the only spot available.

Haha, good. I hate bad drivers so much that every second on the road is dedicated to not being one. I thought you were just talking about some guy that had to turn his wheel a little bit to adjust his angle. If you have to correct that much, you probably aren't a good parker to begin with.

I totally agree. They make you parralel park but they don't make u back up? That makes no sense. Most people are scared to Parallel park, but have no choice when they back up. I'm sick of seeing people inching out of their parking spots like there is a grenade about to explode if any sudden movement is detected.

Especially old chinese people.

I think most bad drivers don't realize that it is perfectly acceptable to stop and assess your direction and what is needed to back up in an efficient and timely manner. Most of the time, you just see them making the same mistakes over and over again.

Another annoyance of mine is people who honk at you when you're backing out of a stall. Sight is usually limited in a parking lot when you're in reverse, take 7 seconds of your day and wait for me to get out.

Don't you just hate it when you are half way out of your parking spot, and all of a sudden this car appears out of nowhere behind you, rushing to get past you like they are trying to beat a red light.. thus causing you to slam on the brakes so you don't back right into them.

That makes me want to chase them down and smash their windows.

Last week I was at the NE Costco. Watched 2 gals in minivans back out of thier stalls and into each other. My honking of the horn to warn them was ignored. Couple of rear bumpers with huge dents.

That is amazing.

In a car park in Seattle (yes the same one that saw the loss of my sleeping bag), I was right behind a woman backing out of a stall completely unaware that she was scraping her passenger door off on a pillar. I just laid on the horn in complete altruistic panic for her situation. All I got was a loud F*** off, which proves the article posted is somewhat correct.

Problem was that it wasn't a signed offer yet. It was still in the "counter" stage. THEY came back with 397k, we took some time to think about it. A few hours later we said ok, and thats when they decided to say 395k.
So, my sister basically said don't talk to me again until you're ready to sign for 397k. Morons. At least it was a far cry from the 380k they started out with.

SOOOOOOOOO we signed the offer today FINALLY for 397k which is only 2900 less than our list price. I'm REALLY happy about that especially since we only put it on the market last friday.
YAY! And a super quick possession too, august 14th.
