I think radio and record companies have to take a few more chances on some artists aren't as mainstream as what they play now. Country radio is terrible. So many of country's best never get any airtime except for XM and the internet.

I am not sure who is to blame, but I do have my opinion though.

If you walk into an HMV, what is the first thing you see? I remember it use to be a music store. I also remember buying a cd 15 years ago for $20. Today I picked up a Tom Waits cd for under $20. Prices have not changed much, it just seems a lot of people want it for free.

I enjoy listening to Tom Waits on Saturday nights with some beers.
I have yet to buy one on Vinyl. One Vinyl album that I play a lot is
the Seeger Sessions. That album was refreshing.
