I really like Hell's Kitchen and Amazing Race. I don't mind watching just the audition parts of American Idol, So you think you can dance and America's Got Talent just for good laughs.

only reality show I watch now is Mantracker. Used to watch this show back in the day called "Bush Tucker Man" (might have been called something else in other countries, but that's what it was listed as in the local paper's TV guide), which was IIRC a guy who was in the Australian army who taught them survival tips, then they made his tips into a show later on. Dude was amazing! He'd hack open trees, find giant worms living inside and eat them alive and wriggling. One show he cut down a tree and carved it into a canoe with just an army issue knife. It was nuts, wish it was still on

p.s. found it! was called bush tucker man http://www.australiantelevision.net/btm.html

The worst reality T.V. shows are the ones where people try to find "love" like The Bachleorette or Bret Michaels show.

A good one that hasn't been mentioned is The Apprentice, not the celebrity ones.

No way! I caught an episode of the Flava Flav one where some really fat chick crapped on his floor, then proceeded to drop turds off her leg all the way up the stairs. That's pure entertainment!

It's like any TV genre. Just as there is good TV comedy and bad TV comedy or drama, or whatever there is good reality and bad reality.

I enjoy Survivor, Amaznig Race, Dirty Jobs, Ice Road Truckers, Axemen, Deadliest Catch, Survivorman, Man v. Wild and many others.

But there's also a lot of junk.

There some good game theory played out on the first couple surviors and big brothers. Then they ruined most of it with all the twists and turns. Although all of the competitions are rigged to get better ratings.

Now alot of it is just rehashed garbage and they ruined big brother this year with the new rules.

But when they interview friends and family, 4X4 would just try to push his get out of the left lane agenda.

My wife and I watch So You Think You Can Dance most weeks, and I find the entertainment value much higher than most other reality shows. Less bullcrap pseudodrama and more actual talent.

I like Gene Simmons Family Jewels, its actually a pretty interesting look into his life. I never paid much attention to KISS but I expected a former rock star's life to be more dysfunctional. The whole family has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that I enjoy.

Somebody here (I think it was tron) said he happened to be around while they were filming one episode and that it was total BS.

Gene Simmons Family Jewels seems totally staged, and I'm sure it is.

I can't stand either show but I could easily see why someone would be interested in The Biggest Loser (if they were big themselves) but can't understand the appeal of BB at all.
