$40 cash, and a $5 chip from the WEM Casino that's sat in my wallet(s) almost over 10 years...
Call it my lucky charm.

$140.
Usually as backup just in case. I don't use cash that much anymore.

At the moment I have $10 in my wallet, I try to keep about that in there at all times, just in case.
I do have a small drawer where I keep change/tip money, and then I deposit the cash once every two weeks with my paycheck. As of this moment there's something like $115 in there.

I decided to start keeping some cash in my wallet, because I never have money to get a diet coke from the machine, or gatorade for my kid, etc. But the stupid machine at Fresh and Easy kept telling me I was using the wrong PIN on both of my debit cards so I had to stuff my cash in it instead. Now I only have like 8 bucks left.

I had about $220+ in there yesterday morning, and then I took my kids to the Stampede. I'm down to $18 this evening, and that was with all sorts of coupons and prepaid passes yesterday too...

Some of the machines are uber annoying. They need a better way to deal with cash from those vending machines. Sometimes I only have a 20 and I don't want a $2 drink and have the rest in toonies and loonies. Also, the fast pay visa/mastercard swipes for some reason don't work with me. I tried to do it and it wouldn't work but the guy behind me got it to work.
The most annoying part is the vending machines at UA where there's a way to cheat it and get a an extra coke for the price of one. But if you do it wrong, it jams up the whole damn machine and nothing will come out. During exams i was at the library at about 9 PM and I was extremely thirsty, the other drinks were some fruit drinks and other nasty so I wanted a coke. Except the s jammed up the machine with about 40 bottles. So I walked to the other side of the building and found the other machine jammed... then thinking okay I'll just move to another building which is closer to home anyways. I go there and the machine is jammed too. God I hate people at UA. Pay your $1.75 and stop trying to get 10 drinks out of it for the price of 1!

I usually carry $80-100 if I'm going out with friends. I never use a debit card or credit card. Cash only.
