Season 5 was below average and just completely unrealistic.
Hopefully this season is better.

Hmmm i do find it weird that entourage is still running but the series ROME was canceled after 2 seasons. It won many awards and had a lot of viewers from what i have read. I just rented both seasons while i was sick and watched them . They were very good.... hmmm
I do like entourage though .... of course i havent finished season 5 yet..

Fair enough on the other parts...but Jamie-Lynn Seigler really is dating Jerry Ferrara(Turtle).

Right, and the guy who PLAYS Turtle is an employed actor. Not a bum driver who lives at his friends house.

Got Oliver Klozoff

Love this show and can't wait for it to be back.
Yeah it's maybe not the most realistic show on TV but that's not why I am watching it. It has the best characters of any show on TV, the dialogue is incredible, smokin hot chicks, good music, great cameos and lots of laughs.
I love it. I watch TV to be entertained most of the time. I'm not a huge fan of reality TV, that's why I like shows like this, it's not supposed to be real.
However I would REALLY like to do the no pants dance with Sloan, that chick is stupidly hot.

Meh, he didn't take it. It was the money he was lusting after momentarily.

He Casted Don Rickles in Casino?
Italianish looking from New York. Would fit right in in Scorcese's typical ensemble cast.

Okay ... people. Stop mentioning that they're dating in real life. I KNOW they're dating in real life.
Again, the Jerry Ferrara isn't Turtle. Jerry Ferrara is a working actor. Turtle smokes a ton of weed, lives at his friends house and drives him around.
And Don Rickles being cast as a bit part isn't the same as casting Vince as the lead character in The Great Gatsby.

Nik, I get your point on the difference between Jerry Ferrara dating Jamie-Lynn, as opposed to Turtle dating Jamie-Lynn. I know the show can be unrealistic alot, as well as repetitive, I think we all do. That's why I laughed so hard at that College Humour bit someone posted in this thread. I dont think anyone cares though. People don't watch that show for the drama, they watch it for the dialogue and the girls. Most quotable show on TV right now IMO.

You think the show is unrealistic based on some notion that you don't think Turtle is right for her? Have you seen real life lately? I'm afraid jobs aren't the only thing that matter in a relationship. Hell, weed may even increase your chances of landing a hottie, in the end it depends on personality. I've lost count of how many times I've thought "what is she doing with that loser". And that's not on TV! So entourage seems pretty damn accurate to me.

Why does the show have to be ultra realistic?
We get enough reality TV as is, Entourage is great the way it is.

Wait, people watch these shows looking for them to be somewhat realistic?
I'm going through all of the shows I watch on TV to see how many are realistic....and I'm drawing a blank.
Last time I checked Entourage and plenty of other TV shows were about entertaining the viewer. If you want realistic shows watch biographies or reality TV.

I've watched the show from the first season, it's always been over the top, it's just that last season was just too much and ruined it.
Last season was a poor season.

Ari says racist and homophobic jokes, fights with Vince/Eric
