We got married at the Riu Jalisco just north of Puerto Vallarta. We really liked it and so did all of our friends and family.

Nice hotel, good rooms, lots of booze, good service, good food and restaurants. No complaints at all.

I got drugged and robbed at that resort.

We've stayed at both the Riu Cancun, Mexico and the Riu Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good overall. Buffet was hit and miss (what else can you expect from a buffet), but the other restaurants were fantastic. Plus, you can't go wrong with booze right in the room.

We took our 1 year old to Jamaica and he had a blast. The staff were all really great with the kids.
