You can use a steam iron at the highest steam setting. Usually there are numbers on the iron for steam and the highest number puts out the most steam.

But chances are that if the shirt has been already been ironed and you use a lot of steam with the iron right on the shirt, you might get a shiny patch.

Wet a clean cotton tea towel (you know, those things for drying dishes) and wring out as much water as you can, it should just be damp. And the tea towel should be cotton, not terry, you don't want a crease and fuzz. Put the damp tea towel over that portion of the shirt that has the crease and then iron over the damp tea towel. The heat of the iron will produce steam from the moisture left in the tea towel. The crease should come out and you should not have a shiny spot. If the shirt is a bit damp when you have finished this process, don't iron the shirt to dry it. Simply put on a hanger to dry.

By the way, good dress slacks should always be ironed this way to prevent a shine.

put it in the dryer on a mild heat if it is a linen or viscose top, as you don't want to shrink it with severe heat. however, if it's cotton, polyester, or a cotton/poly mix, put it in on regular heat and take it out as soon as it is done and hang it! The heat from the dryer will press it for you. But seriously....get an iron too! You will eventually need one!

Not to be a snob, but......Moore's as an example of best looking shirts?

To the original poster: Hang up your shirt in the washroom, close the door, and run the shower on hottest water for a 1/2 hour without the fan on. This might not work on the initial factory folded creases though. But seriously, learn how to iron - it's on par with learning how to tie your shoe laces.

Run hot water for half an hour? What a waste of water and energy.

Not if you're showering.
