Good movie.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall wasn't that good IMO. It had its moments but not nearly as funny as Knocked Up.

This is the funniest movie I have ever seen. I am a big fan of Old School and Knocked up and this was WAY funnier in my opinion. This will be one I watch over and over. I'm sure I missed a bunch of jokes because of the laughter in the theatre.
I just got back from Vegas the week before and it made it even funnier. Especially the pics at the end, those were classic.

I liked the other two comedies directed by Todd Phillips I've seen - Old School and Road Trip.
Preferred Road Trip, but Old School was pretty good as well.
Haven't seen The Hangover yet, but hopefully will soon.

I also saw the movie and was wondering "How the heck did the Chicken get in the hotel suite?" Was it simply the Tiger's food?

I got to agree with Malcolm on this, Forgetting Sarah Marshal is intensely funny. This was good. had me laughing my ass off, but Forgetting Sarah Marshal and Old School are still on another level.
Oh who else got to see the drunk girl eat down the stairs during the movie? priceless... just priceless...

Best comedy movie that's come out of Hollywood in a longgg time. I don't even know where to start... I'm going to see it again tomorrow. The Alan character was performed to perfection.

Lived up to my lofty expectations, best comedy to come out in years. Great plot, well written, great characterss, very refreshing new comedy. I like how the humor came out of the plot and characterss and not just the dialogue. Zach Galifianakis was fantastic as Allen, I thought it was great he didn't need to be over the top or obnoxious in order to be outrageously funny, very refreshing as well.

here comes the guy to piss on the parade...and really, it's not that harsh.
I had a few people tell me how amazing this movie was, how it was one of the best comedies they have ever seen...so I did go in with really high expectations, and I was let down. I still enjoyed the movie, I definitely laughed...but it's a 6/10.
I have to admit, alot of the movie I was thinking...this is eerily similar to Dude Where's My Car. Even the female cop, played an impound officer in Dude.
So, I dunno...maybe it was the high expectations, but I was hoping for more. I also like movies like Old School, Superbad and Knocked up but The Hangover ranked behind all those for me. My girlfriend, who didn't even want to go to the movie, but went on my insistence enjoyed it more than me.

I dunno guys...
My stepdaughter loved this movie and has said pretty much what you've all been saying.
Then again, her all time favourite funniest movie is White Chicks.
That of course has me more than concerned.

That's not surprising. This movie has some below-the-belt lowest-common-denominator fart humour and there's clever stuff too. So depending on your sense of humour or even your mood, you'll find something that you find hilarious.

That wasn't so bad!
I went into the movie with lower expectations because I had been burned before by movies that were supposed to be "HILARIOUS" so I guess I was pleasantly surprised.
I do agree with the "Dude, where's my car?" vibe. While many folks I know didn't like that movie, I enjoyed it because I went in knowing it was going to be uber-dumb.
JD is right in saying that you have to be in the right mood for some movies.
