So ok update....

I have signed an RTA at a price slightly less than the posted price in the ad. I gave them my bank draft this morning with it.

I get a call just before lunch saying that another party has put in an application and is willing to pay full price and was I willing to match it.

I thought they were bluffing and said of course not we signed the documents this morning. They said they would get back to me but chances are they are giving the place to the other party...

Now my question is what are my rights? Can I force them to live up to the lease?

And another update... Now they are for sure "doing whats best for the owner of the property" and going with the other guy...

If it werent for the fact that this place is so nice and so convinient I would tell them whatever but now I am seriously upset.

Final Update... So I just got a call from a manager explaining that they had not approved the lease though I had signed it along with the agent I was dealing with.

I guess the Manager must sign it for it to be approved which is total cocksuck but oh well.

Long story short don't ever trust a middle aged bleach blonde, slutty but not attractive leasing agent from a two-bit company like Emerald Management.

She was the reason I signed at a lower than offered price because she really wanted to get her comission. In the end offering 45$ less lost me the place.
