I was wondering why he so suddenly wasn't part of the show anymore, last night's episode was really good. I am liking where this will take House, him feeling the guilt and trying to figure out why.

Of all the characters on House, it makes the most sense that it would be Kutner offing himself. He was the only character where the show didn't follow his life outside of the hospital.
