Alright, this is either hilarious or scary second group came through and one of my neighbours windows broke!! hahaha

Save Us Sutter - You're correct - they are coming in groups of two, but together in groups of 2 x 2 and seem to be splitting off and spreading out.

Wierd that there would be so many CF18s so low - 8 CF18s has to be a good chunk of our Canadian-based CF18s

Nothing gives me the goosebumps like seeing a fighter jet fly overhead. Nothing. Too bad I'm up in Airdrie.

Isn't Canada on the list of countries getting the F-35?

Thanks - where did you get this info from?

I figure more than half must be serving in afganistan? So say 8 is 20-30% of the Canadian CF18s, crazy to see them flying so low and quickly, very cool sight

Wow, they are low in that end.

Nothing rattled here like my last experience, but it was quite noisy, almost deafening.

I'm downtown, but I can see the airport from the window of my office. Two of them just returned there.

They aren't there yet ( I don't think).

One of my university roommates flies F18s out of Bagotville and he isn't going over until the fall.

Freedom from what? Bronconnier and his Bronco-buster government?

Sorry, F-14's don't count but Canada almost ended up with F-14s after the Iranian Revolution when the U.S. blocked sales of parts to Iran and they were trying to liquidate the F-14s at a cheap price but the Iranians found out Canada was part of the hostage rescue and nixed the deal. It would have been really cool if we had F-14s as nobody else operates them and sadly they were retired and the planes and their dies are all junked and scrapped (so that Iran can't get parts).

Little did you know, but this is secretly Bronconnier's plan to parade his storm-troopers throughout the city and institute martial law.
