Stalkers are no fun. I've had my ebay account hacked and the fees run up, my checking account emptied and so many other things. What I've found out is that passwords can't have anything to do with significant dates or names of family members, pets, hobbies, etc. Now all my passwords are pretty random, I also use various forms of punctuation thrown in with letters and numbers to make it that much more difficult for anyone to guess.

It sucks having to constantly worry about what they're going to do next. They tried to hijack my season ticket account, but put the wrong password in five times and got locked out. Its so ridiculous.

One of them used to send threatening text messages and since he worked for his cell phone provider, he would delete them from the account at work so there was no proof he ever sent them.
Jesus. You need to start fighting fire with fire. Hotter fire, that is. Pull some Blair Witch crap on them... That's what I always thought I'd do in such a situation. In the middle of the night paint their windows black and such things. Mess with them until they think they're going bonkers, but do it in such a way that they could never know it is you. False evidence, my friend, false... evidence.

Maybe not related...

But when i was visiting my father in law.. I was checking my facebook on my cell phone, and it randomly logged me into someone elses account.

I read all his inboxes and changed his status to something funny.

He wasnt my friend or anyone I reconized.. I think he was from Ontario. Probally Karma getting back at him for being a leafs fan.

Hasnt happened since... Was pretty weird.

These people are crazy. I figured if I don't antagonize them, they'd get bored. This has been going on for almost four years and I've finally had about six months now where nothing has happened. I'm hoping they finally stopped having fun since I haven't fought back. Don't think I haven't thought of revenge, dreamed up ways to get back at them for everything they've done to me. But that's a lot of time and negative energy to spend on people who are pretty good at sinking themselves.

Haha, not that I have seen yet, maybe I sould do a google search.

Anyhow, I have my account back, Microsoft replied within the 24 hr time frame they had posted and I now have control of my email account. I have changed all my passwords and updated my info in the retrieve password section. I couldnt remember what it was because it was still the same info that I put in, in 1999.

I downloaded that Malware program and it didn't detect anything. I don't think it was a friend because the only thing other than my email account that was affected was my WOW acount which they hacked and seemed to have merged into some other kind of account.

Use a packet sniffer to check to make sure you are not sending out unusual email packets. I had a logger for a couple days a while back and it was saving screenshots of my desktop every 10 mins and emailing them out whenever I would log into the wireless @ school.

We ended up using 'Hijack This' to remove it IIRC.

My iPhone does weird things over a wireless connection. For example, I tried to update my aps, and instead of asking for my iTunes sign it, it automatically asked for my girlfriends, even though she has never typed it into my phone!

Hacks!

Hijack This! is a fantastic registry editor, but can really mess up your PC if you use it incorrectly. Lots of forums are set up to help get around this if need be however.
