Exact same with me. I almost always wear jeans so I am going to spend more money on them.
What are the other options? Khakis? Slacks? and I'm not really a shorts type of guy.
Anyways, I've spent over 200 on a single pair jeans. I don't buy many pairs, but I am willing to spend on the ones I do. I also got into dry denim a while ago.
I started out with diesels, then moved onto Nudies, my last pair of jeans was a French brand APC.
My favorite pair was probably my Levis 1947 reproduction model in dry selvage denim. Well worth the price.
I'm kind of a snob with my jeans. The only one of the big mainstream brands (diesel, sevens, true religions, etc) that I will buy is Diesels. Beyond that it's got to be something of slightly higher quality. I'm not willing to spend 250 bucks on a pair of gaudy true religions just so everyone can know i am wearing true religions.

anyway, im gonna go smoke some pole now.

Oh no no, I've got a girlfriend. I've been trained.
I normally just bought the "upper-end" Gap jeans. They've kept their dark wash for awhile, but lately I've gotten a pair of Buffalos (my most expensive pair of jeans ever at $120) and the difference in quality is really noticeable.

I usually just wait for a really good sale. I only buy jeans once or so a year.
BTW, try Unlimited Blue on 17th Ave.

Well the most i have paid for a pair of jeans is 300 bucks... it was a pair of true religions when they first came out or maybe the first time i saw them .. it was about 4 years ago and i still have the pair and wear them. I used to buy lucky jeans a lot but for 100 bucks and they would rip after 10-12 months i figure i can spend a lil more and they last longer in my opinion... if you like premium denim you can always find deals , for example a lot of online retailers will send 40% off coupons so ill buy from there etc... There are place like Nordstrom Rack's that sell irregulars or overstock ( ROck and Republic's) for 109$.... 7For all mankinds for 80 bucks... so its not as expensive as one thinks....
I will note when i had the 90 pairs of jeans they werent all 200 dollar pairs... i had a lot of abercrombie and american eagles.... They all tore so easy so thats why i started buying premium denim.... I am down now to about 30 pairs of jeans and 20 of them being premium .... about 10 pairs of Rock and Repubs , 3 pairs of of True religion, 3 diesels, a couple of william rast and i have just bought some selvage denim to see how the raw denim thing works...

nothing better then a fresh pair of raw denim. I have some Edwins rainbow selvage that I haven't really worn that much, some skull 5010xx 6x6's that are faded pretty nicely, and some nudie slim jims that are absolutely destroyed. I'm current rocking some APC New Standards that haven't been washed in about 7 months. They're starting to look really good but my crotch is in need of some reinforcing. My next pair was gonna be the Self Edge x Drybones x Superfutre colab but the price combined with the exchange rate made me decide otherwise. I'll probably wear these apc for another 5-8 months and then look at getting some dior homme or samurai.
Raw denim is definitely not for everyone but if you stay committed you can produce some truly amazing results.

I pretty much wear the same pair everyday. Although if I looked in my closet I probably own 5 or so pairs (I know for sure that I have one pair that I have never worn out of the house, don't know why I bought those).
The pair I'm currently wearing cost ~$220. Their raw selvage; I don't know if I would classify them as premium though.

+1 for Winners.
You can usually find Guess and Buffalo jeans there for $49.99 and the exact same ones are found in the Guess and Buffalo stores for $100+. Ive also seen True Religions, Sevens and Diesel jeans at Winners as well.
Its a treasure hunt though. Some people hate that...
Sounds like those brands wouldn't be designer as it looks like we have some denim snobs here...

Where can a guy buy a pair of rock and republic jeans? I lucked out this weekend and was in winners and found a sweet pair of Seven Jeans for $100. I was pumped. I never have luck finding anything decent at Winners.

Isn't the phrase "sweet pair of Seven Jeans" an oxymoron? There's so many jean companies that offer way better products at a much lower price

I'm not a fanatic but I'm also not buying the $10 Kirkland's at Costco. On my semi-annual shopping trips I usually unintentionally manage to fluke it right when they are changing the fashion season to new stuff, it's cheaper then.

Everything about this is just wrong. What guy asks another guy where he got his Timberlake jeans from, or any jeans for that matter, when has this become acceptable small talk amongst our gender? What is wrong with the youth!
