I definitely hear a tone at 21.1, not just static. I can't hear the 22.4 tone though.
And I'm much, much closer to 30 than I am to 20. So according to the blurb at the top, I shouldn't be able to hear it.

Damn kids with their ultrasonic ring tones and rap music.
I couldn't actually hear beyond 14.9 Hz but I felt pressure on my ear drum for each one. Very unpleasant sensation.

I could hear them all clearly except 22.2 or whatever.. Can anyone else clearly hear the hum of a CRT tv if its on in the house? It can have no volume and I can hear its whine from almost anywhere.

i got to the last one (really good hearing), but the top two are more of a 'feeling' in the ear drums than an actual, distinguishable noise.
as far as my ring tone goes, ill stick with brass bonanza.

Yes. I find it annoying as hell. When my ex was living here, she'd leave it on all the time and it would drive me crazy. I'd say "can't you hear it?", but I guess she couldn't.

Yes. My family used to have a TV that sometimes wouldn't shut off correctly, basically the picture would just go black and the volume would mute. I could be walking upstairs from the basement and hear it before I was even close to the living room.

I actually ask my friends this all the time. Whenever I come home from work/school I always notice that my mom turns off the satellite box but not the TV. I can hear it the second I walk in the door, whether it is the TV upstairs or on the main floor.
My friends claim they can't really hear anything so I've always wondered if I was some sort of advanced mutant type person. Apparently not.

I can, when I come down from upstairs I can always tell if the tv is still on from about 3 rooms away.
For the this test I could go 18.8, very faint but I could get it, 17.7 was much clearer.
My brother has an app for his iPod Touch that is like this, all it does it send out a high frequency tone like this. Pretty funny because everyone always gets annoyed.

If my TV is on but the cable box is off, I can hear it. Sounds like one of the higher frequencies in the link.

Dude, like I said before, it's probably your imagination like with 21.1
THERE IS NO AUDIO on the 22.4. It even says so. It's a trick! If you claim to hear that, it tells you you are lying.

I could hear all except the last one (and I'm forty), but I wouldn't put too much faith that your typical computer sound card is able to reproduce anything above 15 accurately. (Let alone typical computer speakers which probably cap off around 10khz.) In fact, now that I replay them, 21.1 sounds like a lower frequency to me than either 18.8 or 19.9.
