Yeah, I've kind of given up on watching new shows now. I've been burned with shows like Journeyman, Jericho, and now Life being cancelled. I'll wait until a few seasons in, then catch up on DVD. So I guess that limits my TV schedule next fall to Heroes. Whoopie.

When was Life cancelled?

It really shouldn't be a surprise, considering the way the season finale went, but it's still extremely disappointing. They cancel this, when Heroes is given chance after chance to get better, when it's sucked basically since the season one finale (and I'm a huge Heroes fan).
EDIT: Woo, 800th post!

I didn't think there was anything that Gabrielle Union was incapable of saving. Sad news to be sure. What kind of message does it send when they cancel a great show after adding this to spice things up just a bit? Brutal.

Bones is starting to grate on me. The whole relationship thing needs to be over and done with. It appears that might be the case with the previews for next episode but who knows. I hate these over extended Sam and Diane relationship things as they are so contrived. The rest of the characters on Bones are very good, and the show is good up until they figure out whodunnit. The last 3 minutes are typically Booth and Brennan looking into each others eyes after they've made some double entendre type comments and I'm left looking for a bucket to woof my dinner into. Mrs Furnace is no different.
The Stewie bits were actually pretty funny and didn't take away from the show...and I don't know how you could take anything away from The Family Guy. This is the same series which had Booth hallucinating Lucky Luc earlier in the season. They tied both things together in this episode.

Noooooo, they cancelled Life?
I had missed the last few episodes this year, now I'll never find out what happened.
This always happens to me with shows I like.

Your right about the whole relationship thing. But the Stewie thing was handled better then I thought it would be, and the resolution of it was really well done.
I think next week is the season finale.

I had forgotten about the Lucky Luc appearance. I like when shows blindside you with something that would seem logical in the real world.

Look for it online. The last two episodes were awesome, and the final scene with Charlie is one of the most badass things I've ever seen on TV. Charlie Crews is the man.

Terrible show that pisses all over science, and has Josh Jackson acting like a ######. I hope it dies a horrible death.

I can't believe people actually watched the US-Life on Mars!? (And am surprised it wasn't cancelled after 2 episodes....)
IMO It was brutal compared to the amazingly well done UK-Life on Mars!?
I have enjoyed Californication a lot for those looking for another show. It dragged a bit through the beginning of Season 2, but one of the final episodes of that season are one of the best tv-episodes I recall having seen in my life.... sooo gooood!
Claeren.
