You should think twice. It's only the first 3 episodes (Bluray Disc Volume 1).

Planet Earth on BluRay is a great deal, especially with the HDMI cable

That's the thing- if you need an HDMI cable then it is a good deal. But I've already got enough HDMIs, so it isn't that great.

Dell doesn't just sell PC's ... they're becoming the closest things we canadians have to an amazon.com (and no, amazon.ca does NOT count).

Oops, hahaha, I googled "Apple Defects" and dropped the first link that came up to send the guy off.
You think I actually click on these links?

To be fair to Amazon.ca, I'm going to be making my first purchase from that website after finding a much better external HD deal than what Dell offered on Monday.

1 TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive for $119.
Is this a good deal? I have been considering some form of external storage to supplement our laptop HDD's but have not been checking it out?
What are the disadvantages to using this type of solution as opposed to a enclosure w/ drive on the network?

I see it for $199 now, looks like the sale ones are gone... that is a great deal though. I bought mine a few weeks ago from Best buy for $150 and I thought that was a good deal.

Hot damn those 1 TB drives got purchased in a hurry. It was a great deal, seeing as I just bought a 500 GB Western Digital drive for the same price.

If you check with Future Shop they usually have a 1TB external drive on for about $170, so that is a pretty solid deal.

Great price on UPS. We bought 10 for work, saving over $400 on what we pay to our supplier. Also got 10 switches.
