Yep, this is only the begining though, and I'm not making any excuses, I always expected the Eagles to win, they had the superior team I picked them on homerism and their 3 years of choking BUT! The NFC is a joke, the Falcons had one of easiest schedules in the NFL and basically had no real competition throughout the season, this was one of their first real experiences with a better team where a test was needed. After Vick gets a few capable recievers and most poise in the pocket they could be the team of the future.

Rodney Harrison, SHOCK THE WORLD!
Pats romping again. I'm afraid, fellow Eagles fans, that it might be impossible to finish the journey.

Yeah, right now if you're in the jewelling bussiness it's safe to start designing Superbowl rings for the Pats. Unreal just how good that team is in big games. I neither like or dislike the Pats but they deserve their due. They are a Dynasty in todays NFL, which is very impressive. Kudos to them.

Extremely impressive to me to do what they are doing in Pittsburgh to THAT team. I think the Steelers have been underrated all year despite their record. They have a great defense and the Patriots have already scored 3 TD's on it. I'm sold on them, finally.
Great year for the Steelers and the experience that Roethlesberger gained by being thrust into the starting role this early will pay off huge in the long run. Still would love to see Bettis get a ring.

woooohooo...the Pats have now systematically destroyed two teams that everyone thought would beat them. Their defence is simply the best all round team defence in the league.
Bring on the Eagles!

Oh come on, virtually nobody thought the Steelers had a prayer.

I'm sure if you did a quick count in this thread you would see that most people acutally picked the Pats to win this game. I thought it would be closer than it was, but I still liked the Pats to win. For the record I bet the Pats win the superbowl by at least 20 points.

I'll second that sentiment.

I don't know about 20 points, the Pats always seem to not want to make it easy on themselves, but they've certainly had two very strong games in a row.
Bring on the Eagles and the Superbowl. I'll say Pats by 13.

Although its a pleasure watching a team as well coached and as talented as the Pats, this weekend was almost dull. I hope (but don't expect) next week to be a close game. Pats 27, Eagles 14.
