I wish there were stink police that would go around strapping stink meters on stinking people. When it starts beeping, it just doesn't stop until Stinky McStinkerson goes and hits the showers.
Not sure how it relates to fish in the microwave.

Yeah, but there are two categories of food... There's the kind that smells good whether you're eating it or not and there's the kind that smells good only if you're eating it.

I would prefer to have people eat re-heated fish, than to open up a can of tuna or salmon, and eat that stuff STRAIGHT! That smell is disgusting. And then there's canned ham...puke.

While I believe this is true, I'm glad that a significant portion of the population is mistaken. Because if no one ate fish, the price of real food (i.e. meat) would be a lot higher.

There's a girl in one of my classes who eats a can of sardines every class. Its a small class, there's 6 of us... there's no escaping the smell.

As for people microwaving nasty stuff in the office, we have an in-house chef in our office... so the smell of fresh baked cookies, cinnamon buns, french toast, etc. usually drowns out the smell of any microwave disasters!

I heated up my lunch with fish in it today for lunch but rather it had the opposite affect. I had about five or six people hounding me for a bite of lunch because they thought it smelled really good.

You have to wonder what some people are thinking. I mean I eat sardines fairly regularly (almost everyday), but I know they stink, so i only eat them @ home.
I try not to eat much @ class. non-crunchy granola bars is about it. If I had to stop and get something it would be a donought/bagel from timmys or a sandwhich from subway.

I've never worked in an office so colour me suprised to hear people eat popcorn during work. It's not the smell for me, I just know I couldn't get much work done if I had a constant snakery sitting next to me. I like to eat what I am going to eat and be done with it. not one to snack much.

People actually ask you for bites
I would not be giving bites of my lunch to people at work.

I would imagine it would be in the same context as when somebody walks into the building with a pizza, and people ask "Oh, is that for me?"- Not that they are expexting to actually get a bite, but just a fun way of commenting about how good something smells.
