That made me go wtf too

Lelande Irving isn't in the NHL yet... bust...

If he isn't good enough to earn a contract chances are he isn't our 8th best prospect.
NOt only that but I don't think we even own his rights anymore since we didn't sign him. Wasn't there a ruling by the NHL regarding this.

I found a link. I'm right.

That number 12 you are speaking of is playing hockey in the AHL for tha baby bruins.

Me and a few other posters (Jiri also I believe) called out HF on this and supposedly they got in contact with a flames pr person that said the flames still had the rights to Puustinen. And they are sticking to that despite the Sutter quote from the summer.

Just returned home from the Hitman-Rockets game seeing our #1 prospect Backlund in his future home. Can't say he was all that impressive overall but showed that he has the talent/work ethic/ hockey sense to be a future NHL'er.

Good to see Daryl Sutter taking the game in with Ken King in a box. Good showing as the building was 90% full.

On another note, What I would give to trade for Tyler Myers (Buffalo prospect) who was Aulies partner in the WJC. He was an absolute monster out there towering over everyone else. The kid has Chara written all over him in a couple years.
