Definitely check out the Byward Market in Ottawa. Great place to walk around and it will be busy from noon to last call. Get croissants at the French Baker on Murray Street. Poutine from any chipwagon. Get a beavertail, I think they have a new type named after Obama.

In Montreal, Definitely check out St. Catherines Ave and Crescent street. Great shopping and a lot of Pubs and bars. Great Night life.

That might be true, but I can never tell the difference between them... there are just too many.. LOL
