The Cottage has great Food ! Also, if you order a Coffee and bailey's in the morning after a heavy night of drinking, they give you a half n Half.

only for a week though, and not on a holiday.
Depends on what you want to do.
For an ultra lounge Crave is the place to go.
There are a lot of good places in the club district on Dewdney.
If you want a club my uncle owns Gabbos. Not a bad place. Sometimes you can get a night when there are nothing but females stacking the place. It is usually dead until about 12 though. Fairly cheap drinks.
There is a place called Bushwackers that is great. Sort of like Brewsters or Bottlescrew Bills.
Another place called The Pumphouse I think. Not the Pump that is a lame barn like club. It is downtown.
As for non drinking entertainment you are pretty limited to the Science Centre, RCMP museum and maybe another museum or art gallery that I'm sure you could find from a Regina tourist site.
As for drinking remember they are a bunch of dirty socialists so buy your beer early because most of it will be warm and you will have to pay extra to get it at an offsale place after about 10pm. That and they have very few liquor stores because they are all government owned.
If you gain anything from this thread it must be this: Don't drink the water.

I will in be in Regina this weekend and I basically have one night and most of the following day.
Where are some good places to eat and things to do? We are staying centrally but will have a car. Two adults. I have been there for business before and didn't really have any time to explore, and I can appreciate the jokes about the place. Help me change my opinion of the city, if that's possible.

It's not possible. Sorry. Enjoy Boston Pizza and the "lake".

I was just there last month for the 1st time, oh boy what a dump. Stayed downtown and between the construction and empty storefronts it was a ghost town. Went to see a football game, stadium is beautiful and the Riders will likely find a way to lose in hilarious fashion, so if it lines up I would recommend a game. If not, there is a pretty cool brewery right across from the stadium called Pile O'Bones Brewery. Some good beer, good vibes. Just got some wings but they were good too. Outside of that I got nothing.

Uhh... tickets to the Regina airport?
Regina is kinda comparable to something like Lethbridge. There might be some stuff, but not much that you can't really see in Calgary and surrounding areas. Regina is so small that if it takes more than 10-15 minutes to get to, it's basically across town. Food and drink wise, there's some surprisingly decent places. Just follow the reviews. There wasn't anything that I felt I couldn't get in Calgary though, and Calgary isn't a true big city food and drink hub. Honestly speaking, I think there's more unique and interesting stuff around Lethbridge than Regina but IMO Lethbridge feels more modern and has more stuff that would entertain adults than Regina. I haven't checked out Medicine Hat extensively, but I think it'd be similar to my opinion on Lethbridge vs Regina.
Walking around Wascana Lake (reminiscent of Lake Henderson in Lethbridge)
Going to different malls and feeling like you're going back in time to 1990, early 2000s?
Regina beach? (45 minutes away) I've seen people fishing in that area too.
Soak in hot springs in Moosejaw or visit the Moosejaw tunnels? (45 minutes away)
Outlaw caves? (2.5 hours south)
Are you driving from Calgary to Regina?
Great sand hills (1:45 past Medicine Hat)
