The absurdity of this is the fact that major american news outlets are getting the title/name of our Prime Minister wrong. Your post would be more appropriate if we were making fun of/slahing get mad at American citizens for not knowing the title/name of our Prime Minister.

The dude responsible for all the killings in Tijuana and Juarez I would say. Nobody seems to want to stop him.

It pains me to see this kind of thing. I think back to my Journalism school days and how strict they were with spelling and fact checking. We would fail assignments/classes for less than this.

You must get annoyed then, as I do, when you hear a commercial on the radio that makes no sense, or see an ad that has spelling errors. In an informal setting, I let stuff like that go by with no thought. When it happens in a professional setting I always wonder how much the person who can't spell is making and how much the proofreader is making. Ridiculous!

I'm not sure of this, but I just heard it from word of mouth. How sad.

I'm with you on this. On Breakfast Television the other day, I couldn't believe that the newsflashes on the bottom had "Barak" Obama visiting Canada.
My wife now enjoys pointing out spelling errors and improper punctuation in ads and on signs just to watch me have a mini-rage about it.

I thought they elected a female president. Name escapes me but it was something like:
"Chiquita Puta". "I'm Chiquita banana and I've come to say
Bananas have to ripen in a certain way"

Well to be far to CNN, Harper runs Canada more like a president than a prime minister.

You mean like a separately elected official with an intricate, yet effective, system of checks and balances that keeps him from unilaterally exercising his own power?
I wish!
