I was surprised he dropped to me. Thought Wolverine and Batman were for sure top 2 picks.

Worst secret identity ever - no one can recognize him when he wears glasses?

Nope. Clark's hair is combed to the side, whereas Superman has a slight cow lick.

We should also add a 'joke' category. There are tons of joke superheroes that are awesome.
edit: And I also wholeheartedly agree that we need a group category. Superhero teams are an essential feature of the comic book lexicon.

Stuff like this would apply
and i think we should try to get through the first round before we talk about adding more categories.

I think you can use a hero from any alernate universe. Black Panther as an eg. exists on Earth 616 (I think? It has been a while for me) plus a number of other "earths" that may or may not have been ret-conned over the years.

Well since some ###### Canoe took Wolverine already I'll have to take one of my all time favs.
Silversurfer
Why?
"
The Surfer is the fringe character that seperates humanity from the omnipotence of Galactus or Eternity, making himtops on our list. His power cosmic is so powerful that it's not a matter of what the Surfer can do, it's what he can't. Matter-manipulation, the power reserves of stars, traveling at lightspeed ... he may even be able to create life. He's truely in a power class of his own."

I am pleasantly surprised that with the 5th pick in the 1st round I am able to draft... Batman.
Though regarded by many Gothamites as an "urban legend" built on superstition and fear of the city's darkened streets, Bruce Wayne knows all too well that the Batman is a cold, hard reality of his own fabrication. Since his parents' death in Gotham's dreaded "Crime Alley," Wayne has spent his life in pursuit of physical and mental perfection in order to wage unrelenting war on crime. Watching over Gotham's streets from its gargoyles and parapets, the Dark Knight is the city's last best hope against evil. And it is this obsession that drives the Batman, for Wayne has vowed that no innocent should suffer the pain he has endured.
Real Name: Bruce Wayne
Occupations: Industrialist, costumed crime-fighter and crusading adventurer
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 210 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
I was never a real big Batman fan to be honest. Recently I picked up the Kingdom Come and Hush trades and started to gain a real appreciation for the character. Now, I think a well written Batman book is some of the best time spent if you still like to read comics.
