Things like lunch for 20 people, tickets to something, not sure. What I'm trying to do is get our branch known on campus without coming across as trying to sell or solicit (sp?) something. Just show up and do something nice for a random office, or employee.
We've also played around with ideas like getting people to nominate people for a quarterly prize of some sort.
Has anyone done this with their office? Just show up with pizzas, or coffee or something? Has it worked for you? Just trying to build up ideas to present to my superiors before going forward with the plan.

Free stuff will always be accepted, but I've found that volunteering is more effective at growing the business.
Volunteer time in the nearby community works the best over doing nice things like dognuts. Just show up wearing an ATB logo thing and just be tactful about slipping it into conversations what you do when you meet people. You'll be surprised how many people will ask for your card and you may not get a call right away, but when the CIBC or Scotia pisses them off, they will call.
See if another nearby FI will work with you to do volunteer work together. It's amazing how much of a positive effect that has when people see two competing FI's working together for the community. Shows that both companies are nice enough to not always be in it just for themselves, but the community instead.
I would suggest sponsorship of SAIT events is also possitive as those students have lots of future potential business for your Branch, especially those nearing graduation.
