I agree completely. Jerseys made form a cookie-cutter is kind of an embarrassment to the league. I would like to see a bit of variation in the jerseys. Reebok has just announced the changes this morning.

The Calgary Stampeders will don uniforms that look similar to the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.

There's more about the BC Lions changes, Argos, Cats, etc. Thank god for no cookie cutter. Although I don't think I'm a fan of the Falcons look. It's been done.

All these unis may still be cookie cutter....nothing in that article seems to dispute that.

The Lions orange uniforms of 2 years back look bad...Eskimos in all yellow?

Light blue works good for the Chargers (I wish they would go to that permanantly), so would sell in "urban" Toronto.

The tiger loks good in the new Ti-Cats logo...but the Tiger Cat script/font looks like something from a cartoon.

Personally I like the idea of B.C orange jersey there are already two teams that wear black at home for a league of nine teams that's alot of black! Are there any sites showing all nine new jerseys yet?

Thank goodness the Argos are getting rid of teal. Now I will never have to see Pinball wearing that nasty looking sweater on the sidelines anymore. That has got to be the ugliest sweater ever made.

My french isn't the greatest, but that article seems to say that that jersey is the rumored jersey, and Jim Popp, team president, is denying that that is the final jersey.

Also talk of a third jersey possibility (assuming a new 3rd).

Let me try me French translating....

First paragraph:
All the teams in the CFL are going to have new looks next year.
Some will even be changing logos, but Montreal manager Jim Popp is not going to let us in on it, only giving vauge answers on the changes.

Popp is commenting that the Alouettes had 3 uniforms last year, and next year too.

Last years uniforms were red and blue at home, and on the road, white, with Montreal written on the chest.

Last years 3rd uniform may return, but Popp hasn't written off the possibility of a 4th jersey.

RDS acquired a sketch of the prototype jersey from Reebok.

The main color is blue with black striped and red numbers.

But Popp is adamant that our sketch shown is not representative of what the actual jersey is going to be.

How was that? My French ok?

they just had stan schwarz on thefan and he confirmed that it has an "atlanta falcons" look to it.

maybe they should take a page from the whole nostalgia thing and let their third jersey be something from the past...

To me, the Stampeder black jerseys have become a bit of a joke & they should BURN them!!! Remember when the Stamps won more than they lost? Back then, they'd wear those jerseys once or twice a season & the club would boast how they were undefeated wearing them...
Then they lost one... two... & more games over time & then started losing more than they won & guess what???? The black jerseys disappeared...

Are the Stamps going to wear black helmets? I haven't heard that story yet. I hope not three teams wearing black helmets is a little too much! You can change the jersey just leave the helmuts alone!!!! Rebok didn't touch Buffalo's helmut or Dallas' I guess I'll have to cross my fingers.

Black helmet with the white horse logo would look cool to go along with the new jerseys.
If they are going to change the look of the jerseys then change everything! Even the colour of the helmets. And make everything co-ordinated. Not this cruddy mix & match they've been doing for years now. White pants, black pants, black third jerseys & gold pants.
