Hmmm, Edgemont City is RIGHT beside my house....but was shut down due to sewage leaking onto the kitchen floor.

Sooooo, looks like I'll try this Ginger Beef Peking house. Will throw in the blow if Locke can provide it.

That was Edgemon Palace. Edgemont City is renovated and under new ownership.

That's what I thought too, but this order uses the real name. I knew Edgemont Palace was closed multiple times.

That's totally what I would order. I prefer Ginger Beef of course. But for lunchtime, I'd get a noodle dish like Singapore Stir-fried Noodles. I love whitey Chinese food and hate "real" Chinese food.

it used to be the only place we could order from around here before the new owners took over which really probably isn't a bad thing.

Snow Palace is superior to New Dynasty. (It's at the far end of Crowfoot Crossing by the Honda Dealership)

FWIW me and my Chinese wife eat there almost weekly, and 95% of it's customers are Chinese.

Maybe it's just that Chinese people eat Chinese food more often and avoid places that are bad restaurants, and bad restaurants are just recognized as bad by everybody?

There's Shanghai Classic on Centre Street N, Peking Garden at Varsity, Edgemont City and Bobby Chaos.

This is a random old thread bump.

Anyway, definitely like Shanghai Classic, when I live in Calgary, my family and I go there fairly often.
