Ok, it's pretty dickish, but it's hardly as bad as some people on here make it out to be.

I think the two should be separated anyway. They don't have a lot to do with each other.

If you give someone an organ, you do it out of caring, it doesn't mean they have to suddenly be better to you.

The woman should have been good to him because they were together. The woman shouldn't have cheated on him anyway, kidney or not.

And to suggest that a kidney somehow trumps all relationship problems is a weird connection too.

Cheating is stupid and unfair under any circumstances. Yeah we'd all like to think the better we treat someone the better they'll treat us, but true gifts from the heart (like organs) don't really fall in that category.

Maybe it's the guys fault for being so blind to her obvious attitude towards him.

I'm sure if I gave a kidney to someone I was with, they wouldn't cheat on me. But I'd also be with them cause they wouldn't cheat on me. And I'd be giving them the kidney cause I know we'd have a lasting love (or cause I really cared about that person).

Kinda feels a bit like the woman who lives with the abusive husband but won't leave him.

People have to figure out who they are with, and it's as much their own responsibilty as the others.

Sorry if I'm taking this personally... I just know someone who...

market value of kidney + Man's potential worth if life not shorten + lawyer fees = Total money he should get.

Just figure it all out by how much she makes. If half her paycheck goes to paying for her ex husband, then so be it. I think it would be more likely 75%.
