Try Command+RightArrow.
If, however, you're using Firefox and it still doesn't work, that's a bug in Firefox. Been known for over 2 years, but no fix yet
More info here especially in the comments.

I've noticed it in Firefox and iTunes.

Got it sorted out OS level and Firefox! Funny to see some people say that the way it works in OS X is the way it SHOULD work. But I much prefer the way Window's uses end/home.

I don't know much about Macs except I hate them, but for what its worth, these are the FREEware programs I install whenever I fix or build a system:
AVG Free
Spybot
OpenOffice
VLC Media Player
Burnaware
Adobe Reader
Adobe Flash
Mozilla FireFox
Audacity (with an mp3 codec like LAME).

Brand loyalty and brand hatred are illogical. Apple is evil, but Mac's aren't that much different from Window's or Linux.

Isn't that funny? I love apple through and through because it suits my preferences. Still, there are some odd things that they do that mac addicts tend to say is the proper way. You can't always get a full explanation when you ask why ...
Regardless, maniacal brand fans be they apple, microsoft, sony, nintendo or a host of others are a little strange. I realize I'm close, but I like to think I remain juuuust unbiased enough to be on the side of the fence that isn't totally cookoo-bananas.

Pff, you probably owned a Genesis didn't you? Haha, Sega boy.
The Home/End key thing and the built in mouse accelleration curve are the two only thing things that drive me up the wall about OS X.
If Windows had a decent shell (ie Bash), support for SSH built in, and something like Quicksilver, I would have no need for OS X. Until that day, Windows remains a inferior product for my needs.

I don't notice like I used to, but every now and then the mouse movement makes me lose my mind.
edit: It's not that I find it broken, it's just that I'm more used to how a pc mouse feels.
edit2: And I did have a genesis, and if you didn't like the genesis you were a ######!!!!!!!!! I would die for Sega!

GOAT!

There's a tiny app you can install that allows you to configure your Home/End keys to be like Windows, and even configure the Delete key to actually delete instead of backspace... etc etc.
I'm trying to remember what it's called, but I use it on all my Macs.

ORLY, how's that blast processing going? BUAAAHAHAHAHAHA....
I had some of my best fights over video games.
I just installed USB Overdrive which replaces the mouse acceleration curve to match the one in Windows. Makes life a lot nicer for my wrist.

Are you talking about mouse sensitivity and responsiveness? I've noticed that the mouse pointer through the trackpad and an external mouse isn't nearly as responsive as what they were on my old Dell. Even with the sensitivity maxed it feels like it takes to much effort to move the pointer around. I was hoping there was some kind of setting I missed.
