Did they grow up in another era where throwing everything away or trying to pawn off things in garage sales to keep your house empty was conditioned into their minds or something? Man, this thread makes me really angry thinking about all that stuff now.

Why do mothers have this urge to constantly throw away or sell their children's most beloved possessions?
Is it really that big of a mystery? It would be more of a mystery (and kind of creepy) if they just let your stuff sit around the house forever waiting for you, like they were hoping you'd move back home again.

Lesson learned. But you would think 2 people living in a 5 bedroom, 3 level house could handle their son keeping a few records in their storage.

Yeah, I'm sure they were desperate for me to move back home when I was 5...10...15 years old. I'd goto a friend's house for a weekend. Come home and find out my mom garage sold all my toys. We moved when we were in grade 8 and when we got to the new house, I was told my boxes of "old stuff" didn't make it with us. Every now and then, I'd find my room cleaned up and things in the charity clothing bag or my comics in the garbage and my toys given away to my relatives, etc.

Just back to the original topic, a guy at my work is selling 100 records as a lot for $300. He says they are in perfect condition. If anybody wants the list PM me.

I'd honestly be trying to sell the judge on a crime of passion, parents or not.

Also, you could get your copy of Live From Folsom signed by all the inmates, and it would undoubtedly pay for your retirement once you sell it on ebay when released!
