Favorite sports movie?

Probably my favorite is field of dreams, especially since it was written by good old Alberta boy WP Kinsella.
Chariots of Fire, even though it's hard to take seriously now that it's been parodied so much.
It's kinda a borderline sports movie, but Finding Forrester is pretty good.



Worst sports movies of all time:

For me, the absolute worst is Men with Brooms. As a fan of curling, I found this a ridiculously patronizing film. How can you get through a whole movie about curling without even mentioning the concept of the hammer? It's arguably the most important concept for the game. The whole movie was based around highly unlikely rock configurations.

Slap Shot and Raging Bull.

Can't believe so many people like Remember the Titans. I thought it was horrible. Rudy was awful as well.

1. Slap Shot

The Bad News Bears is a great movie as well. That's the 70's for you -- a "hero" in the movie is a broken down alky who drives around town with a car full of kids while drinking beer and smoking cigars -- and it's a comedy.
