It's DEFINATELY not Booty time in Minneapolis!
Thing about the Eagles is that Jim Johnson is a blitzing maniac, and that will throw Tarvaris off....badly. But the Eagles record on the road isn't all that great. 3-4-1 beating the Giants, Seattle and San Fran.
So I don't know, they are beatable, because the Eagles are JUST as inconsistant as the Vikings. All depends on which team shows up on Sunday.

It'll come down to who can run the ball. The talent on both teams pretty well cancels each other out. The only reason I see the Eagles taking this is because Reid>Childress and McNabb>>>>>Jackson.

Ravens - Miami isn't the real deal, the Ravens have Ray Lewis
Chargers - the two hottest teams in the league going into the postseason, Chargers because they are at home
Eagles - 4th best run defense against a team that can only run
Falcons - Boldin isn't 100%, Michael Turner was 2nd in the league rushing

Ooh, I almost forgot how prone AP is to fumbling the ball. That makes me even more giddy.

AFC
6. Baltimore Ravens (11-5) at 3. Miami Dolphins (11-5)
Dolphin Stadium, Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)
--- yes the Dolphins are playing at home but I don't think they will beat the Ravens. I'll pick the BALTIMORE RAVENS to win.
5. Indianapolis Colts (12-4) at 4. San Diego Chargers (8-8)
Qualcomm Stadium, Saturday, 8 p.m.
---- Peyton didn't have his usual good year but I think he'll show up he is still one of the best QB in the league. Peyton's kryptonite New England Patriots did not make the playoffs so he might have an awesome game. INDIANAPOLIS to win.
(NBC)Byes: 1. Tennessee Titans (13-3), 2. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)
NFC
6. Philadelphia Eagles (9-6-1) at 3. Minnesota Vikings (10-6)
Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, Sunday, 4:30 p.m. (Fox)
---- I have to pick Minnesota Vikings on this game because of the following reasons: they are playing at home, they have a RB called Peterson and the Eagles have a QB named McNabb. MINNY to win.
5. Atlanta Falcons (11-5) at 4. Arizona Cardinals (9-7)
University of Phoenix Stadium, Saturday, 4:30 p.m.
---- the ghost of Michael Vick is finally gone. I think they are not one-dimensional team anymore. I can see them beating the the Cardinals.
(NBC)Byes: 1. New York Giants (12-4), 2. Carolina Panthers (12-4)
My predictions are as follows:
First Round
Ravens
Colts
Vikings
Falcons

That's a lot of bird teams. Aeneas once asked me if the bird's actually are found in the cities they represent. There are cardinals in AZ (in the winter). There are eagles in PHI. I assume there are falcons in ATL and ravens in BAL. There is no such thing as a seahawk.

I think Ospreys are often incorrectly referred to as sea hawks.

Things get kicked of tommorow. Just an absolute wide open playoffs with the exception of the Giants who I still believe will end up winning the Superbowl.
Colts hardly ever win pretty but I just think this team finds a way to win in San Diego.

I'm not sure about the Giants. There have been more than a few games when they were made to look ordinary.
I think each game will have favourites, but other than if the Cardinals win, I could see almost any other team having a shot if they get on a roll.

I do like the role the media and most of the fans are giving the Dolphins. The Dolphins were given no chance all year. I have a feeling the fins play better when they have something to prove, when they've been favoured they haven't exactly played up to there potential.
I think the Dolphins could surprise and pull off the upset, they will actually have home field advantage with a sellout crowd, they've been playing with poor crowd turnouts the past few years so Sunday should be a different feeling for the visiting team in Miami.
I do hope they win thsi game not because I think they will win the superbowl but just to know they can compete with the elite teams and it would probably ensure Sparano as a lock to win the coach of the year award.

I'm all over the Dolphins this year, with my Saints out the Phins are my official bandwagon play-off team. I've always liked Pennington. I just think Baltimore looks deadly lately(another team I'm big on right now. Basically the winner of this game is my team for the play-offs), and I think they may pull out a close win. But I wouldn't be shocked if Miami won either, this year really is up in the air. Basically any team could win it right now, I love how wide open it is.

ESPN reporting LT has been dignosed with a tendon seperation from the pubic bone. I believe they said it was the tendon that attaches the groin.
How can a running back play on that?
Big help to the Colts for sure.

OUCH.
He was thinking it was a groin muscle strain. Huge difference.
