Hey, ms....just saw your avatar. Are you a big Clutterbuck fan? Is he back from Minnesota?

(I've had a leaky roof....which has drastically reduced my time to read what's going on around the league!!!)

Yeah, Clutterbuck is my absolute favorite pro player. He's still up in MN and has been told to find a place to live up there, so I don't think he's coming back. But he did finally get his car full of all his belongings out of the Houston airport parking garage to the tune of about $600.

We miss him a ton down here, but I'm very, very happy for him. The guy is 110% all the time and has earned every little bit of success he's having. Super nice guy, too, from everything I've seen. He's a player I'll follow throughout his career.

Sorry about that leaky roof. Being in Houston, I can relate to that. Still lots of blue tarps everywhere you look here from the hurricane.

sorry, ms.c, but you're right about Cal. The best name in hockey would have to get injured and need a rehab stint to play in Houston in the near future.

Oh, I know. Much rather have a healthy Cal in MN than a wounded one anywhere.

We've got some guys who are stepping into his checking role down here, and I'm happy to see that. They were really missing that energy for a while. Steve Valette is a guy who's creeping onto my radar for that reason. There was one game a while back where I swear I was looking around for Cal because of the quick succession of hits I was seeing. It was all Valette.

Really? He's usually pretty okay with being booed since that's kinda his gig. Guess you caught him on a grumpy night.

What is going on with EasyRyder down there in LostWage$? Not a single point in four games. Even J.D. Watt was able to light it up in that league.

Just got an email back from the Wranglers beat writer at the Las Vegas Sun. Ryder is currently injured.
