I worked for a couple months in a metal fabrication shop. It was a nightmare from the first minute.
The foreman of the shop believed that insulting the employees was the greatest breakthrough in labor relations since the cat o' nine tails.
The casual racism added to the grief. I gotta admit though, it was kind of funny. Guys with English, Polish and Russian accents would comment that the guy from Jamaica should "go back to where he came from" when he was out of earshot. These were some of the dumbest people you could ever come across. I got stupider and stpider every day I worked there.

I've heard that from so many people that worked there, I really try to avoid that place now. I got one buddy who's a special case though, he worked there for 3 years and still eats there all the time. He's nuts though, he was watchin Supersize Me and it made him so hungry for McDicks that he paused it so he could go pick some up. I think they brainwashed him.

Cooking at a restaurant in grade 11. I love cooking, and I was really good at my job, but it was too stressful. I've never been able to handle stress very well, and the stress of this job was keeping me awake at night.

Really? I worked at BK, and while there, I don't think I ever saw anything too horrific done to the food. There was the occasional "Five second rule" called, but beyond that, nothing totally horrific.

Mine starts the same way... except the guys I worked with were all very nice and just great co-workers.
I just hated sitting there for 10 hours at the brake, bending sheetmetal over and over, to make panel for a G55 containment wall... its NEVER ending. OR welding bolts onto baseplates, or punching holes out for....
Just a no thinking job and the samething OVER AND OVER all day.

Telemarketing was probably the worst job I have had..
I raised pigs until I was 14, worked every position on the rigs, but I hated Telemarketing, I lasted 2-3 days

I had some sadistic co workers.
Burger patties dropped on the floor/stepped on or dipped in the grease vat before being placed on the bun. Spitting on the burger if it was a special order.

Two jobs sucked, and went back to back. Started as a part-time prep cook (and sometimes demoted to dishwasher) at Chi-Chi's when I was in grade 11. I quit there (so I could go to a party) and then found part time work harassing people to buy a freezer full of meat by phone. That only lasted about five or six (part time) weeks.

Ohhh really? I came to work one morning while working with Safeway and some guy had made a mjor dump in the mens washroom. He then proceeded to throw it all over the walls and floor. Even went as far as to wipe some on the mirror
Boss handed me the mop and bucket and said clean er up!

That happened to a friend of mine, when she worked at Dairy Queen. She was so upset about it. My laughing at it clearly didn't help. I just don't get the motivation for doing something like that.
