Uhh..Santa Baby...by a long shot. It never fails...everytime I enter a department store past December 1st it's" Santa Baby blah blah blah bu blah bu blah blah".
It's even more irritating because I can't undrestand what the hell she is saying. It has to be the most played song during Christmas.
Santa Baby, sung by anyone and Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. Hate hate hate those songs.
Does anyone have any suggestions of a good Christmas music CD that has traditional songs sung the traditional way? No crap by Mariah Carey where she goes off with a note for 5 mintues. Just regularly sung, normal Christmas carols. What's Josh Groban's CD like?
Christmas Is All Around is awesome and so is Love Actually. But I was so bummed when I got the soundtrack and this song wasn't on it
Yes! Love Actually is actually (sorry) one of my all time favourite movies.
Incidentally, is that Bay City Rollers song on the soundtrack? The song they played at the beginning during Sam's mother's funeral. I can't remember the dad's name... it's the guy played by Liam Neeson, though.
You know, I was a having a nice day until this this thread. Now, I desperately want to pound a railroad spike into my head.
Visions of a dancing hippopotamus, droning "Simply haa-aa-aaving a wonderful christmastime!" in Mariah Carey's voice and over over again haunt me and make wish for the oblivion of the grave.
...is recording a Christmas song the recording-artist equivalent of Jumping The Shark?

His name is Daniel. Isn't the little boy just the cutest kid ever? No the Bay City Rollers song is not on the soundtrack either. They need to make a second soundtrack. No Beatles song either. Maybe they have copyright issues or something. Ok, I have inomnia so I'm going to go watch Love Actually for the hundredth time. It's only one of maybe 5 movies in my life I've watched more than once, and I've seen it way too many times but never get sick of it. Probably the only chick flick my husband ever sat through, then said he liked it.

Reason: fix
Aside from the crass commercialization of the holiday, I've experienced three significant deaths during the holiday season, and one insignificant. Not my own death(s), obviously.
Kinda ruins the fun of it all.
Sorry to hear that. That's sad.
