The first "Slap Shot" sequel came out in 2002 and the third film in the franchise hits stores Tuesday on a straight-to-DVD release.

In "Slap Shot 3," the Hanson Brothers sponsor a team of junior players and end up coaching the squad, which features three of their alleged offspring. The film is intended for a younger audience and doesn't feature any of the ubiquitous swearing that is found in the original.

I'm actually happy to hear this, my 10 year old nephew really want's to see Slap Shot but isn't allowed. I have yet to go out and edited a version that would pass the ok for him to watch it. Maybe this might really suck as a movie but satisfy the Hanson Brothers interest he has

I can't recall the site, but there is one or two that do cleaned up version's of films. Dude that wrote "year of living biblically" talked about it
