lol, maybe check your ears, cause when the turkey goes into its death throes and the machine shakes I can hear the rattleing metal and other turkeys squaking, louder and more than they are for the whole interview before that point, Sarah even turns slightly like it almost caught her attention, but stops short. I'm hearing all of this through a microphone 20 feet from the killing, how could she not have a) heard it b) realized what was happening behind her. Even if the part about her being asked about the backdrop and saying "No Worries" isn't true she is a freakin idiot.
lol, that is pure gold.

I want to punch my monitor right at the end when she says she's in charge of the turkey, "so I'm where I need to be today to prepare for that" followed by that annoying tongue click and wink that she's so famous for. Does she ever go back at watch the interviews she gives??

Uh, anyone who works at a media company will tell you that the footage you shoot is the company's property and not yours. Unless this guy was shooting on his own equipment, he's not getting any extra cash from this.

Her answers remind me of the beauty pagent contestant from a couple of years ago who didn't answer the question.
"...reigning in the growth of government and uh plans like that..."
Awesome stuff.

Surely someone ought to have been. After all that IS what they do there.
Sorry but it happens WAAAY too often to simply be the media being out to get her. And if it is the case then surely you'd make sure you weren't being "set up".
In my view it's pretty simple...she's an idiot.

I just got a headache listening to her talk. I have no idea wtf she was saying, so hard to figure out what the irony is.

How anyone can consider this as anything but an absolute gaffe on her part is beyond me. There are no excuses. She wasn't set up. She just didn't figure it out.
I mean come on, they were killing birds in the background of an interview. If she didn't have enough wits about her to know that bird-killing isn't a good backdrop, and that she was going to look pretty silly, then you can't blame it on the lefties or MSNBC.
Ho hum. It's not our concern. The people of Alaska can have her back. They probably won't think this is as big a deal as us city slickers.

Joe The Turkey Killer - soon to be more famous than Joe The Plumber.
Looks like he tried to hold off as long as he could, but he had to get on with it.

It's not the person being interviewed job to frame the picture or pick the camera angle. She was there to pardon a turkey which is a light hearted Thanksgiving tradition in a number of States. The cameraman should have stopped filming and changed angles or simply asked for the guy to stop his work. It's not like this would have run live. When you have the time you work to do it right. Turkeys being butchered in the background distracted from the nature of the piece.
The bigger story is the ongoing irrational hatred of Sarah Palin by the MSM and liberals in general.

There is no irrational hatred, you like her thats fine, but don't call our criticisms irrational.
If anything rationality is why people can't stand her so much.

Do you not ever question anything that a right-winger does? Do you see the irony in a person who espouses a philosphy that is at least arguably about self-reliance and taking responsibility for oneself constantly moaning about someone being set-up for a fall?
This is the person you wanted to be vice-president and who is likely trying to set up a run for prez and she doesn't have the wherewithal to stand up to a cameraman knowing that everything she does is scrutinised or is too dumb to realize what is going on behind her? Do you really want your president to have either of those characteristics?

Nope your hatred is irrational. She is the Governor of Alaska and by all reports a pretty good one. How is her preforming a function as Governor of Alaska news? It isn't. Why is her trusting the cameraman to do a competent job demonstrate she is stupid? It doesn't. Why wasn't this edited out if the cameraman actually missed it? Because it was Sarah Palin and people like you hunger for mud to throw at her. If she had a booger hanging out of her nose no doubt the cameraman would have focused in on it, MSNBC would have run the story, and you would have posted a thread to mock her for it. That's not the same treatment others in her position get. Hatred for her is irrational.

Don't preach to us about hatred. Palin was the one that cravenly tried to incite hatred in the Republican base by playing the race card and the terrorist card.
absurd choice of running mate . . . a deceiving and unscrupulous woman utterly unversed in any of the needful political discourses but easily trained to utter preposterous lies and to appeal to the basest element of her audience - C. Hitchens

And those supporters who kept on bring up ACORN, Bill Ayers, Kahledi, and so on.

"so happy to get to be here" while the slaughterer has this big grin like he's having an orgasm. To funny for words to describe.
Her careless trust in god to make everything right is obviously working out, but not for her benefit.
