These calls are all scams - this one, the one from Mindy or whomever that has an important message about your credit card, etc. Since the Do Not Call list has effect on only legitimate businesses and not con artists, we'll all continue getting these calls.

Has anyone else got a call from 000-000-0000
So..... Ive gotten a call a few times from this number... Whats the deal with it? I put my number on the National Do Not Call list, but this thing keeps calling me.
Anyone else seen this?

I have had that number calling me before. I cant remotely even remember what it was. When you answer it, its just a dead line isnt it?

These people say its a test line to see if anyone is home. I remember a post about this here from before

When I pick it up, it delays, then says Ive won a trip to florida or something...

I get calls from 000-000-0000 and another number (868- something maybe?) almost constantly. The 868 one never says anything so I stopped even checking to see if someone eventually talks. I just answer and hang up since they always call when the baby is being out down.
I think the 000 one was some survey I think.

I'm getting the same thing here in Ottawa. My phone is on the national do not call list, but I'm still getting this "won a vacation" thing calling me. Twice in the last week.

They should just ban restricted numbers, if you don't want someone to know you're calling, don't call.

I get that when my sister calls me using Skype. I have my home number blocked unless the caller ID number is displayed and then when she calls on Skype, it get all those zeros.
