If they meet an obstacle and turn right, their next turn will be left and vice versa.

Sowbugs are gross. When I was a kid my brother used to play a game called "head or butt" with them. He would pull them apart and have his friends guess which end of the bug the guts would be hanging from. GROSS.

As for the silverfish, you can use a spray that works for roaches to get rid of the ones you can see, then put a portable heater in there to dry out the room and they'll lose interest in being in there. Make sure after using the shower you have a fan going to dry out the room as quickly as possible.

Well I picked up an organic powder that is supposed to act as bait for them. Also picked up an ultra toxic spray.

Between the two it should work out pretty well.

Edit: The spray actually makes a sizzling noise wehn it comes into contact with anything....i should probably leave the windows open for a bit.

Disgusting little buggers. Good to know that they dont like dry environments. I had them in my house once had to call pest control toronto. maybe next time ill try the heater. thanks for the info

oilfan, be happy you don't live somewhere really warm and humid. I spent some time in Venezuela as a kid, some nasty stuff down there. Costa Rica was interesting as well.

I was quite disappointed tonight when I couldn't get the order of pupa I wanted when I was out for dinner. Not so big as that rhino beetle larva, but much more delicious by the looks of that vid.

We had them in a rented condo a long time ago. We moved. A flamethrower also works.
