I understand for sure, my brother and I are both fairly tall as well, and a big thing with West Jet *is* that consistency. Every agent has empowerment to make their own decisions without any supervisor. Unfortunately if someone's already paid for that Emergency exit row seat and someone calls me and asks for it, I can't boot the first person out despite how much I'd love to give the row to people who actually need the leg room.

Ultimately thats the problem, I booked countless business travelers on other airlines based upon that ability to give a extra leg room seat.

When Westjet leads the way, as they should, possibly removing 1-2 rows on a flight to give not only everyone more room but definitely the 3-4 rows available to very tall people, they would profit again by being something against the grain of most airlines in the world, not including asian airlines which put us all to shame.

This is similar to what Air Canada is already using. SWA in the US has similar things in the works. Dont be surprised if alot of these come into play as add on options as Westjet is currently retooling their booking engine.

Apparently this is a hoax. It was not a survey from Westjet.

I would GLADLY pay a $50 premium to be on a flight that has absolutely no children under 12. Crying babies are only a small part of the problem; it's the ill-behaved kids who make a racket and constantly kick the back of my seat that really annoy me.
